Coefficient of drag

If you've been using info from Bell + Denny 1994 to calculate water velocities from forces imparted on dynamometers in the intertidal zone, your velocities are wrong. We're redoing all the calibrations currently, and hopefully a paper with updated coefficients of drag for wiffle golf balls and 1" roughened spheres will appear in the near future. We're using a water cannon, aka the Finkler Sprinkler, to do new measurements of Cd.
